The contrast of weight and hollow, of sharp edge and flowing contour, gives the piece a duality , at once shelter and sculpture. It is an ode to the geology of becoming, where a flower does not merely sit, but appears to grow from within a relic unearthed.
Each tunnel invites light to pass through and shadow to settle, suggesting an interior life, unseen but present. More than a vessel, Silex 1 is a meditation on presence and absence , a relic of future rituals.
