We’ve gathered some gentle answers to thoughtful questions—offering clarity on how we work, what to expect, and how to stay close to the pieces that speak to you.

How often do you update the collection?

We curate slowly and seasonally.
Our selection changes every month, as we introduce new works from the studios and artists we work closely with. These aren’t mass-produced objects—they’re carefully sourced and offered in limited numbers.

We share behind-the-scenes glimpses on social media, and through our newsletter, subscribers receive early previewsbefore new pieces are released more widely.

Where do the artworks, collectibles, objects and books come from?

Each piece is sourced directly from independent artists, artisans, and design studios.
We prioritize working with small, female-led, and sustainability-minded partners across Europe and beyond. Everything is chosen for its presence, not just its appearance—crafted with intention, meant to live with you.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Because we curate in partnership with artists and small studios—and often ship directly from their hands—we’re not set up for traditional returns.

We encourage mindful purchasing and are always here to answer questions before you order.
That said, if your item arrives damaged or in error, we’ll resolve it with care. Just reach out within 48 hours of receiving your order.

What if the artwork isn’t framed or I need special assistance?

You’re welcome to contact us if you’d like a piece framed, gifted, or thoughtfully packaged.

We see Collectnoir not as a store, but as an online atelier—designed for dialogue. If you have a request, let us know. We’ll arrange it for you with the same attention we give to every curated detail.

Can I pre-order or reserve a piece I saw on your feed?

If you’ve seen something on our Instagram or newsletter that isn’t available in the shop yet, feel free to write to us.

Many of our pieces are offered in very limited numbers, and we’re happy to let you know what’s coming, or reserve a work for you if possible.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes—we ship worldwide.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Please note that customs duties, local taxes, or import fees may apply depending on your country. These are the responsibility of the recipient.

How long does shipping take?

Because we work directly with artists and makers, shipping times vary. Most orders are dispatched within 7–14 business days.
If an item is made to order or part of a pre-order, we’ll share the estimated timeframe via e-mail and are in dialogue with you until the collectible arrives.

Can I send an item as a gift?

Absolutely. Many of our clients send pieces as gifts.
We’re happy to include a handwritten note and wrap the piece in our signature style.
Simply let us know during checkout, or email us after your order.

How do I know if a piece is authentic?

All works offered through Collectnoir are sourced directly from the artist, their studio, or trusted gallery and design partners.
Each piece comes with documentation (Certificate of authenticity), and we only work with creators whose integrity we trust and support.

Do you work with interior designers, stylists, or collectors?

Yes. We love working on curated placements for private homes, hospitality projects, and design-led spaces.
If you’re sourcing for a project or client, we’re happy to prepare custom proposals or help tailor a selection based on mood, material, and intention.
