We’ve had the privilege of working with Dušica Pejić over the past years—witnessing her evolution as an emerging voice in contemporary art. In her latest series, Inner World Series, she draws from the expressive language of East Asian calligraphy, translating it into a visual rhythm that feels both ancient and immediate.
This horizontal canvas pulses with quiet energy. Each gesture is deliberate, each stroke a meditation. Texture, tone, and space come together to create a work that is less about representation—and more about emotion made visible.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dušica Pejić explores the relationship between visual art, movement, and psychology, focusing on inner conflicts and the unconscious. Her paintings and Kinetic drawings examine human dualities, light and dark, chaos and order, highlighting the role of conflict in personal growth. Her innovative Kinetic drawings merge movement with visual expression, capturing emotional complexity. Recognized as a leading abstract painter in Serbia, Pejić's work is in prestigious collections globally. As an associate professor at the Belgrade Dance Institute, she connects visual and performing arts, inviting viewers to explore the depths of their psyche.
