"Measured Without Proof reflects the idea that art can express truths we sense but cannot measure with current science. It doesn’t promote alternative facts, but acknowledges the limits of scientific methods to capture human experience fully. The artist’s role is to give form to the invisible, knowing the result is only an approximation—a feeling or impression rather than the thing itself. Even sculpture, grounded in physical reality, can’t fully embody these intangible truths."

CURATOR´S NOTE

Measured Without Proof is a work that dwells in the in-between—between what we know and what we only sense, between matter and meaning. Sarah Trigg’s sculpture does not attempt to define or explain; instead, it offers a form that holds space for uncertainty. Solid in presence yet elusive in interpretation, it invites the viewer into a quiet tension—where the tangible hints at the immaterial, and the unsaid carries weight. We are drawn to how the work resists finality. It doesn’t seek to resolve, but to remain open— asking us to consider that some truths are not proven, but felt. A contemplative piece that renders the invisible quietly visible.
